01
Web development, APIs, Git, debugging, technical documentation, small tools, and automation.
Debian/Linux, Docker, NGINX, systemd, TLS/Let's Encrypt, reverse proxies, logging, firewalling, and securing public services.
IPv6, BGP, DNS, RIPE database management, RPKI, WireGuard, pfSense, FRR/BIRD, routing policies, and peering.
Prometheus, Grafana, Node Exporter, health checks, log analysis, traffic analysis, and practical troubleshooting in production.
Operating, adapting, and analyzing free software, with practical experience in open-source projects, bug reports, and self-managed infrastructure.
02
With AS208694 / Tiekoetter.NET, I operate my own autonomous system as a hands-on networking and infrastructure project. The project includes dedicated IPv6 prefixes, BGP routing, RIPE database management, RPKI-validated routing policies, peering and transit connections, as well as production DNS, web, and monitoring infrastructure.

2023 — 2024
TRR 318, Medical School OWL, Bielefeld University
Development of an interactive Unity interface for robot control and behavior configuration. The interface enables robot behavior such as gestures, facial expressions and speech to be created and adjusted without programming knowledge. My focus was on programming and technical implementation; the project was situated in a medical research context.
04
Operation and continued development of a custom web and reverse-proxy infrastructure with modern TLS configuration, HTTP/3, QUIC, NGINX, Docker, and automated certificate management.
Built Prometheus- and Grafana-based monitoring for servers, services, and network traffic, including metrics, dashboards, health checks, and log analysis for operational visibility.
Operation of public FOSS-based services such as SearXNG, Invidious, and Nitter on self-managed infrastructure, including reverse-proxy configuration, Docker, DNS, TLS, caching, rate limits, monitoring, log analysis, and abuse mitigation.
Development of static websites, small web tools, dashboards, and scripts for automating administrative tasks.
05
I work extensively with free and open-source software, operate several FOSS-based services, and regularly engage with open-source projects. This includes error analysis, issue reports, configuration work, operation, adaptation, and documentation.
